Law Enforcement
In modern times law enforcement officials of all kinds are faced with the daunting task of protecting and serving while under intense scrutiny. There is a need to control suspects once they are within arms reach and we provide non lethal techniques that allow officers to perform these duties safely. Safely for the officers as well as the suspects! Prison guards, patrol officers, state police, SWAT, DEA, Personal Protection Specialists and Air Marshalls are just a few of law enforcement fields that could use our tried-and-true training methods. One thing they all have in common is that they may come in contact with a violent suspect at any time.
STACT training provides techniques that are effective–but, more importantly, provides principles that are life saving. Skill sets used to control and or to defend quickly wane and a common thread we have found after conversing with law enforcement officers is that the training they get at the academy, no matter how good it is, can be forgotten or lost over time. Let STACT come in and get you back to your state of excellence by augmenting your current training regimen with our STACT system.
Women's Self Defense
Statistics*
1 in 4 U.S. women are victims of domestic violence
1 in 3 women throughout the world will experience physical and/or sexual
violence
37% of attempted abduction occur between the hours of 2-7 pm on weekdays
Women are victims of violent crimes. including sexual assault and domestic violence, on a daily basis. The best way for women to protect themselves against violent attacks is to be prepared. STACT can equip women with the mental and physical skills needed if confronted by the dangers that exist in our world today. No longer are these dangers found in alleyways in the dark of night. They exist in public places, in broad daylight. Our mission is to empower women with self-confidence and the ability to protect themselves and their family. Our program teaches women to instinctively use their natural fight or flight reactions and avoid freezing. Our system includes self defense against common attacks including being tossed to the ground where women actually have an advantage fighting from the ground and we can teach you how. STACT instructors have volunteered teaching at a local battered women’s shelter. These women shared some of their experiences and found the training to be very valuable. Our training program of self-defense skills and techniques are done in a safe environment with instructors that foster positive support and heartfelt compassion.
